Conkle's Hollow

Conkle's Hollow is one of the six major areas of Hocking Hills State Park. Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, Cedar Falls and Cantwell Cliffs. Each of the park areas offer a unique experience for those who walk their paths. From hemlock-lined trails, to huge rock formation, waterfalls to rock bridges, guests to the park are sure to treasure their explorations for years to come.  Rich in forested areas and natural wonders, there are over 25 miles of hiking trails in the Hocking Hills State Park system.

Conkle's Hollow Hocking Hills State Park

Rugged cliffs, steep ledges and tiny recess caves make Conkle's Hollow's remote trail a wonderful hike for the adventurous.

Interesting things to look for: Cliffs, a meandering stream, enormous hemlocks and rock

formations make the lower hiking trail a wonderful adventure.

The recess cave with a seasonal waterfall at the end makes the trail worth the walk.

Be Careful! I wouldn't recommend taking the kids  on the upper

level of the trail. Hiking can be hazardous. NO PETS ALLOWED AT CONKLE'S, IT IS A NATURE PRESERVE.
