Take a scenic drive along State Route 374.

You can drive on down the road to State Route 56, make a left and then follow 56 until you get to Locust Grove Road on the right. Make that right and go straight where it makes a sharp veer to the right. This will place you on on Creola Hue Road.

You'll pass Lois' Summer Kitchen on the left and within minutes, you can follow the signs to Wicker Cabin Gifts and Collectibles, turning right on the next street which is McVey Road. After leaving Wicker Cabin Gifts, go straight back on to Creola Hue Road and head on toward Hocking Hills Maple Farm only a couple miles down the road on the right. Once you've been to the Farm, go straight on up Creola Hue until you get to State Route 93. Turn left and go several miles to Fiddlestix Craft Shop on the right. Just a stone's throw away is State Route 56. Turn left and you're almost back to where you started!

Even the bears are stopping in at the Hocking Hills to get away from civilization:

There have been one or two bear sightings a month near the park outside Conkle's Hollow and around Ash Cave. One bear has been seen ambling through the campground. Tracks have also been found along the rim trail at Conkles Hollow and the public hunting area near Ash Cave. All over the Hocking Hills, bears have been sited. Please use caution and stay away from these wild creatures!

Coyotes in this neck of the woods?

If  you stay at the cottages at Hocking Hills State Park, you may get the chance to hear one of the more haunting and unforgettable sounds you'll ever hear as the coyotes holler out their high-pitched howls deep in the belly of the gorge and in the dark of night.
